GIORGIO CRAVERO

Creative Director, Photographer

Born in Turin in 1975, Giorgio Cravero is a prominent figure in the field of visual arts.

After earning a degree in Visual Communication from Istituto Europeo di Design, he began his professional journey specializing in architectural and still life photography.

Skilfully navigating between traditional photography, digital techniques, and advanced technologies, Giorgio blends diverse approaches to highlight the essence of every subject. His distinctive visual language brings objects and spaces to life through the expressive interplay of light, form, and material, creating compelling visual narratives.

In 2012, after two years as a partner, he acquired Studio Blu, one of the most respected still life studios in the industry. There, he continued a tradition of excellence while exploring new directions in visual communication.

Giorgio’s artistic vision has been recognized internationally with several awards, including:

• Hasselblad Master Awards, 2016

• OneEyeland World’s Top 10 Still Life Photographers, 2021

• Spotlight Awards Shortlist – Advertising, 2022

Since 2015, he has expanded his creative practice to include video production, establishing a new studio with a highly skilled team capable of delivering a wide range of visual projects.

At the end of 2023, he co-founded Different Studio, a creative boutique based in Lugano. Built on Giorgio’s two decades of production experience, the studio supports agencies and brands with tailor-made communication projects, with a particular focus on the luxury market.

In parallel, he launched Creative Reviews in Italy — a mentoring project aimed at sharing methodology and know-how, supporting the growth of young photographers and professionals seeking evolution and transformation.

A Fujifilm GFX Ambassador since 2019, Giorgio continues to inspire and challenge the boundaries of visual storytelling in today’s ever-evolving communication landscape.

As a Director and Cinematographer specializing in product and live-action films, Alex is a proud member of the AIR3 Associate Italian Directors Guild. With over 20 years of experience, he began on his career in advertising photography, honing his craft in the studios of esteemed photographers before seamlessly transitioning to directing.

His photographic background has instilled in him the ability to quickly capture imagery through the artful use of light, enriching his narrative vision. His expertise spans diverse sectors including tabletop art, food and beverage, automotive, industrial manufacturing and the luxury realm of jewelry and watches.

Curious, inventive, and observant, he has successfully managed teams on both small and large-scale productions, cultivating exceptional problem-solving skills. His discerning eye for beauty, symmetry, precision, and clarity is evident in every project he undertakes.

He firmly believes that, “The way you do one thing is the way you do everything.”
